Wow.
It's amazing how many things a little person can accumilate. So we are back from Trail now. We went to Trail (where John grew up) for a week so Noah could meet his Grandma and other family members. Let the details begin..
So we left here Friday afternoon and drove to Cranbrook. FYI the Superstore in Cranbrook has the biggest selection of kids clothes so we did a little shopping. Then spent the night in the hotel pool and bedtime it was. Enjoyed some fresh waffles in the AM and the adventures of Noah and his hamness started. He was giggling at the staff and the a hotel guest who had a little doggie. Good times.
Packed up and went to Trail. Arrived at Vicki and Alberts who made our stay so enjoyable and made us feel so welcome. They have a little dog named Mugs and he LOVED Noah. Lots of kisses..lol
Introduced Noah to John's mom, sister and cousins. He was really enjoyin himself. Laughing and smiling with everyone. Letting them hold him ect..no problems. He is normally shy and cries with strangers but he was so fantastic this trip. We watched the fights with Jer and had some beers. The next day we went back to Marilyns to visit and hang out.
Monday we went to visit with Chad, Andrea and the girls. Had dinner and a couple quick beers. Bath, giggles, bottle, giggles and bed. He started waking a few times in the night so we would put him in between us and he slept like a baby ;)
Tuesday shopped downtown and checked out the Trail Arena, delicious pastries and then off to The Colander. Words can not explain how delicious the pasta is here...great italian place and oh yeah the stew? Yumo!
Wednesday off to Spokane for the day, shopping and IHOP breakfast. Harvest grain and nut pancakes...really. OMG a must! :) He slept alot in the car and did really well considering how much he has been in the car seat over the last few days. But he was wide awake and would not sleep. Finally he tuckered out around 10. Yikes. But still up at the same time.
Thursday we had a lazy day, didn't do much..went to the mall got some Easter presents for the little ones and watched a movie.
Friday still really sick and just getting worse, sucks but gotta push forward. Off to Marilyns for Easter dinner, ham and all the rest :)
Saturday morning..one last visit with John's mom and off we went...Radium bound! Stayed at the Hotel, went in the pool ordered some dinner and called it a nite. Woke up Sunday grabbed a coffee, hung out in the room and giggled with the little guy. Packed up and made it home.
Such a great visit and I am leaving out all the good little funny moments where for example Noah had everyone howling over a tug a war game with Mugs, stole my scarf and was hamming it up, threw spaghetti noodles on the floor at the restaurant, found out about velcro and loves it. Says Hiya and yaya..scrunches his face and just learned to pull himself up to standing!! Big boy. Close to crawling but cant get his one foot out from across him. He is pretty close though lol. It's awesome to watch him now. Busy body. okay I guess I didnt leave it out now LOL.
Great trip, people and memories.
