Great trip, people and memories

Wow.
It's amazing how many things a little person can accumilate. So we are back from Trail now. We went to Trail (where John grew up) for a week so Noah could meet his Grandma and other family members. Let the details begin..
So we left here Friday afternoon and drove to Cranbrook. FYI the Superstore in Cranbrook has the biggest selection of kids clothes so we did a little shopping. Then spent the night in the hotel pool and bedtime it was. Enjoyed some fresh waffles in the AM and the adventures of Noah and his hamness started. He was giggling at the staff and the a hotel guest who had a little doggie. Good times.
Packed up and went to Trail. Arrived at Vicki and Alberts who made our stay so enjoyable and made us feel so welcome. They have a little dog named Mugs and he LOVED Noah. Lots of kisses..lol
Introduced Noah to John's mom, sister and cousins. He was really enjoyin himself. Laughing and smiling with everyone. Letting them hold him ect..no problems. He is normally shy and cries with strangers but he was so fantastic this trip. We watched the fights with Jer and had some beers. The next day we went back to Marilyns to visit and hang out.
Monday we went to visit with Chad, Andrea and the girls. Had dinner and a couple quick beers. Bath, giggles, bottle, giggles and bed. He started waking a few times in the night so we would put him in between us and he slept like a baby ;)
Tuesday shopped downtown and checked out the Trail Arena, delicious pastries and then off to The Colander. Words can not explain how delicious the pasta is here...great italian place and oh yeah the stew? Yumo!
Wednesday off to Spokane for the day, shopping and IHOP breakfast. Harvest grain and nut pancakes...really. OMG a must! :) He slept alot in the car and did really well considering how much he has been in the car seat over the last few days. But he was wide awake and would not sleep. Finally he tuckered out around 10. Yikes. But still up at the same time.
Thursday we had a lazy day, didn't do much..went to the mall got some Easter presents for the little ones and watched a movie.
Friday still really sick and just getting worse, sucks but gotta push forward. Off to Marilyns for Easter dinner, ham and all the rest :)
Saturday morning..one last visit with John's mom and off we went...Radium bound! Stayed at the Hotel, went in the pool ordered some dinner and called it a nite. Woke up Sunday grabbed a coffee, hung out in the room and giggled with the little guy. Packed up and made it home.
Such a great visit and I am leaving out all the good little funny moments where for example Noah had everyone howling over a tug a war game with Mugs, stole my scarf and was hamming it up, threw spaghetti noodles on the floor at the restaurant, found out about velcro and loves it. Says Hiya and yaya..scrunches his face and just learned to pull himself up to standing!! Big boy. Close to crawling but cant get his one foot out from across him. He is pretty close though lol. It's awesome to watch him now. Busy body. okay I guess I didnt leave it out now LOL.
Great trip, people and memories.

Busy, busy but soo much fun.

Wow.
We have been busy busy but having such a great time. Noah is a riot. Man this is really my favorite time with him. He is so interactive and I can see in his eyes when he learns...I can see him actually learning by watching his eyes. It's so rewarding.

Since last time, two teeth are out, yep can see them both clearly. It's sooo cute.

We started swimming and he absolutely LOVED it. What a great thing, all these cute little babies flapping around. SO glad we decided to do it.

Went to the used toys and clothing sale at the Tuscany club and it is lined up and jam packing. They put it on twice a year and it is wonderful. We got a brand new hilarious elmo, counting tonka truck, 2 pairs of childrens place jeans and a pair of jeans from the gap all for 22 bucks! perfect.
Had my sisters shower, which was so much fun!! I can't wait to meet the little man...Jacob. What a great name..Jake! Noah spent the day at Grandpas with daddy and uncle Nic...he was in such a great mood. All smiles. Love it.
The next day we went to Nic's (sadly) but final hockey game of the season. They lost, but looked real good out there. My dad is a coach and dyed his hair green (their colors) for support.
Tons of walks and lots of car rides. He loves the bjorn so much! He squeals and laughs all the time.
We went to Chapters tonight for a little change of pace. Got a couple of little things for the monkey and The Notebook for me to read. I hope it is as good as the movie or better.
Then grabbed a Tim's and I am hoping I won something. I think it's my turn to win something.
Anyhow things have been really really great. He knows how to give kisses, hi fives and learning how to wave and clap right now. He really wants to get moving too..he is pretty close to crawling but also loves standing so maybe he will skip crawling and go right to walking..imagine, walking!! Aww....
Okay up to par now I believe.

One tooth out, 19 more to go

Thrilled.

Ecstatic.

Yes, one tooth, possibly two (if he would let me in there) have cut! He slept the whole night through and I so needed that. Been a tough week. He went to sleep easy last night and tonight laid him down awake, kissed him and said goodnight left the room and did not have to go back in. Just like what we are used to.

We took Noah for his first swing ride today, pretty cool. It was such a beautiful day today and supposed to be 10 tomorrow. Spring is in there air. There is so much run off right now, loving it. Flip flops are getting closer and closer...

He was in much better spirits today, exactly what we needed and just in time for......swimming tomorrow! Man, I am pretty excited. He starts swimming classes as a "Starfish". He loves water and I can't wait to see him splash around.

It is shocking has fast time flies by. I can't beleive he is 8.5 months old already, love that he is growing and learning new things. His new thing is hi-fives (although I am not sure he really knows for sure) but he puts his hand to yours when you say hi five!

(I will make sure and post all about his new adventure and how it went tomorrow)

Wowzas..

Last night was tough, Noah was up every 3 hours screaming and crying. Real tears, the big ones that roll down his face. He was pretty uncomfortable...fingers jammed into his mouth. Had to rock him back to sleep...had a little tylenol and seemed to take a bit of the edge off but still upset.

Man I am exhausted...not used to this. He normally is a really good sleeper. He was hard to get down to bed today too. I am hoping he (and me) have a more restful sleep tonight.

Yup.

All I got.
